The Council’s CDA Gold Standard addresses a critical need of students seeking quality CDA® training. Early childhood educators, in the U.S. and around the world, contact the Council daily seeking guidance with selecting a training organization. Now the Council is offering a reliable and sustainable system to identify and recognize professional development training programs and organizations that provide high-quality training. The CDA Gold Standard is available to organizations offering training and professional development in early childhood education, such as, but not limited to: Non-profit and For-profit organizations Higher education institutions Child Care Resource and Referral agencies High school early childhood/child development programs Private training organizations Head Start Early Head Start Tribal organizations Military Religious organizations
An MSA Credential is valid for three years from the award date, after which it may be renewed in five-year increments. The MSA Renewal process gives you the opportunity to reaffirm your competence as a Military School-Age Associate. The Military School-Age Renewal Packet contains ALL of the documents MSA candidates will need to renew their MSA credential.
MSA Candidate Application Packet. The Military School-Age Credential (MSA) is an opportunity for staff working with school-age children on military bases to gain professional recognition by demonstrating competence in their on-the-job skills. Staff must complete the Foundation Level Individual Development Plan (IDP) to be eligible for the Military School-Age Credential. The Military School-Age Candidate Packet contains ALL of the documents MSA candidates will need to apply for the MSA assessment.
